Das intelligente Leben auf der Erde unterteilt sich in drei Arten: Menschen, Dämonen und Zwischenwesen. Über allen Gruppen regiert als mächtigstes Wesen der Chojin. Nach jeweils 3000 Jahren schaut der Chojin auf der Erde vorbei, und weil sich dieser Zeitraum gerade jährt, wird der Meister von Freunden und Feinden bereits heiß erwartet. Niemand weiß jedoch, in welcher irdischen Form der Gott erscheinen wird, und so sind alle ziemlich überrascht, als er sich zunächst in einem heftig pubertierenden Tokioter Schuljungen manifestiert. Dann aber erfüllt der Chojin alle Erwartungen und veranstaltet nach ein paar kleineren Gemetzeln einen zünftigen Weltuntergang…

Ida, eine engagierte Polizistin, macht Jagd auf den Drogenboss Ken Zheng, der Hong Kong nach mehreren Jahren im Ausland wieder zurückerobern will. Während ihrer Suche wird Ida gefangengenommen und nach Heroin süchtig gemacht. Mit Hilfe eines lokalen Spitzel gelingt ihr jedoch die Entwöhnung. Nach Wiedererlangung ihrer Sinne tut Ida sich mit einer anderen Polizistin namens Hon zusammen, um einen Überfall auf das stark bewachte Herrenhaus Zhengs zu inszenieren.

| It’s the year 1990 and the beautiful city of Hong Kong is under |
| siege as the crime world goes ‚turbo‘. Triad leaders vie for power |
| on the streets, drug trafficking is getting out of hand and the thin |

| Within a few months time, the Triads will control every major crime |
| activity in the Pacific Rim and no law enforcement agency in the |
| world will be powerful enough to stop them. But all of that changes |

| Detectives Ida and Hon, two close friends who are like sisters and |
| watch each other’s back in the line of duty. Ida and Hon are the |

| to hand combat techniques, Ida and Hon are given authorization by |

| one, they’re fighting crime their own way…but now, these two |
| beauties find themselves squaring off against old nemesis, Ken |

| first clashed with the Angel Terminators. Now he’s back with his |
| loyal bodyguards, led by Miss Nishiwaki and ready to reclaim the |
| spoils of his near-fallen empire. After his return, Ken tries to |
| reconcile with Carrie, his former mistress and Hon’s cousin, who is |
| not happy to see him and has given up her old life to marry a young |
| detective who works with Ida and Hon. However, tragedy strikes the |
| group in more ways than one when Hon’s family gets in the way of |
| Ken’s business and murder starts hitting too close to home. After |

Der schüchterne Bablu (Shah Rukh Khan) ist ein ziemlicher Versager, der sogar noch im Bett seiner Mutter (Farida Jalal) schläft. Nun scheint ihm das Glück jedoch hold, als er von der schönen Sonia Kapoor (Juhi Chawala) als Hotelkoch eingestellt wird. Gerade als sich die beiden auch privat näher kommen, wird Bablu verhaftet. Die Polizei hält ihn für Manu (Shah Rukh Khan), einen gefährlichen Raubmörder, der aus dem Knast ausgebrochen ist. Die Verwechslung wird zwar aufgelöst, doch fortan schwebt Bablu in Lebensgefahr.

Was könnte trügerischer sein als die Filmwelt? Freundschaft, Ehrlichkeit und Großmut – hat all das überhaupt einen Platz inmitten der oberflächlichen Scheinwelt? In Bollywood auf jeden Fall. Hier arbeitet der Kleindarsteller Sunday seit Jahren zusammen mit den größten Leinwand-Stars wie Shahrukh Khan und Shammi Kapoor. Sunday hat gute Kontakte. Die sind sogar so gut, dass er der hoffnungsvollen Jungschauspielerin Babli eine Rolle vermitteln kann – ausgerechnet beim Meisterregisseur N. Chandra! Und damit nicht genug. Sie darf gemeinsam mit dem großartigen Mukul Dev vor die Kamera treten. Babli ist überglücklich und sucht nach einem Weg. Sunday ihre Dankbarkeit zu zeigen. Denn für ihn ist das Leben in Bollywood nicht so wundervoll wie man meint. Er ist sehr krank und musste vor Jahren zusehen, wie seine geliebte Frau bei einem Unfall am Set ums Leben kam.

Hier arbeitet der Kleindarsteller Sunday seit Jahren zusammen mit den größten Leinwand-Stars wie Shahrukh Khan und Shammi Kapoor. Sunday hat gute Kontakte. Die sind sogar so gut, dass er der hoffnungsvollen Jungschauspielerin Babli eine Rolle vermitteln kann – ausgerechnet beim Meisterregisseur N. Chandra! Und damit nicht genug. Sie darf gemeinsam mit dem großartigen Mukul Dev vor die Kamera treten. Babli ist überglücklich und sucht nach einem Weg. Sunday ihre Dankbarkeit zu zeigen. Denn für ihn ist das Leben in Bollywood nicht so wundervoll wie man meint. Er ist sehr krank und musste vor Jahren zusehen, wie seine geliebte Frau bei einem Unfall am Set ums Leben kam.
