Zu Unrecht wegen Drogenbesitzes verurteilt wird die junge Martina in ein dreckiges und karges Frauengefängnis gesteckt, wo sie sich sofort gegen zahlreiche Angriffe zu verteidigen hat. Nach diversen Anfangsschwierigkeiten schafft Martina es Freundinnen zu finden und das sich das Knastleben erträglicher zu machen. Trotz der harten Strafen kommt es immer wieder zu verschiedensten Ausbruchsversuchen und auch zu einem Aufstand….
