Gamerin Mara (Lourdes Mansilla) ist stocksauer – haben ihre Eltern (Martin Borisenko, Alexia Moyano) ihr doch die von ihr geplante Party zu ihrem 18. Geburtstag verboten. Während sie noch schmollt, entdeckt Mara vor der Haustür ein an sie adressiertes Päckchen. Bei dem zunächst vergeblichen Versuch, den Kasten zu öffnen, verletzt sich das Mädchen am Finger. Offenbar öffnet ihr Bluttropfen dann jedoch die hölzerne Box, in deren Inneren sie eine spacig aussehende Virtual-Reality-Brille findet. Spontan setzt Mara das Gerät auf und trifft in der virtuellen Welt auf Aram, die sich als eine mächtige Hexe vorstellt.
